Bye-bye candy-rain.com, hello TheQuonk.com
New domain! I’m terrible for backing up my data. I salvaged the latest posts from candy-rain.com but nothing else. Thumbs up to Google cached pages. :) What happened with candy-rain.com? I don’t know exactly. I came back from work one day and opened up a Firefox session. My website is my homepage, so all I saw in my browser was: candy-rain.com This domain name has expired. Find out how to renew it today. plus 10 Google Adsense links and some other revenue generating advertisements. Just the other day I was working on my website. Uh… what happened? Okay, let’s contact the web provider. What?! Cannot connect? Call their sales line. The number is not in service? Did they go bankrupt and had to make a run for it? Before I visited HostOnce’s website I thought I forgot to renew my account or something, but I have the invoice that shows I was good to go until next June. I decided to go over to GoDaddy and pick out a new domain name in my impatience to figure out what was wrong. I’ve been talking about moving to another provider for a while, I guess it was just good timing. But I still have almost a year left on my old account and it’s not working. I visited HostOnce’s website today and they’re up and running again but my domain is still down. I’ve emailed billing@hostonce.com to see what they have to say. I’m still waiting to hear back from them.
I’m not liking this domain name. I was going for quonk.com but it was taken. J suggested quonker and i considered it for a while but then decided to get thequonk.com instead and I bought the domain name. P messaged me with, “Why didn’t you name it quonker.com?” I changed my mind right there, quonker looks so much neater on-screen than thequonk.com. I’m considering parking the domain name for future use. Suggestions?

Hi!
Because something related to you showed up on FB (and it made it clear that you were in China), I followed the links and eventually *sorry* made my way here. I was looking for the candy-rain website a couple months ago and saw something similar to what you describe in this post; I was curious as to what you kept from undergrad as well as wondering what (if any) Naruto chapters you had listed (I’m slowly buying this along with “a couple” (O(10)) of other series — excluding single volume purchases). Hopefully, you are doing well!
Cheers,
Jonathan
P.S., I feel like blaming my manga hobby on you because HxH was my first english manga :p

Ah, I don’t check my comments often enough. I didn’t notice it until today. :p I didn’t keep any of the files from undergrad. But you can get them at a lot of places online, just search keywords Naruto manga and you should be able to get a bunch of places.

This one looks like a solid website.
I never had HxH manga! You can’t blame me for it! But… I may have been a seeder for the episodes on Rez-X. :p
