Files and photos and videos, oh my!

I’m sitting at my desk at school, staring at the screen. I’m waiting for all these files, photos and videos to finish transferring so I can get them ready to burn them to DVDs so the school has a record of everything. Then I have to edit the videos of the students’ performances at the Guanggu Music Festival and burn those onto DVDs. I think I just uninstalled my video editor last week. Obviously, after 1.5 years of never touching the thing and deciding to finally uninstall it, I would have to use it the week after the uninstall. This is really IT’s job but I don’t know how I ended up with it.

Anyone have suggestions for video-editing software or something that will just make my life easier?

30 more minutes on this transfer. I feel like just going home…
